Costs to consider
From legal fees to office supplies to monthly utilities, there are many costs to consider before you launch. And while every business is different, there are few common things you’ll want to account for whether you’re opening a physical store, offering a service, or creating an online business.
Rent: Will you need office or retail space for your business? Will you need to rent storage for your products, inventory or equipment?
Equipment: What equipment will you need? Do you currently own it or will you need to purchase or lease it?
Fees: Business licenses and permits cost money. Which federal, state and local requirements apply to you?
Payroll/Recruitment: What will it cost to hire employees? Will it cost to advertise your job positions?
Marketing/Advertising: To create awareness that you’re open and ready to do business, will you want print ads, online ads, marketing materials, and/or signs?
